Charity and giving is important to Leanne and despite her busy schedule, she makes time to support many great causes including JDRF, Caudwell Children, Cancer Research, Macmillan and Social Bite, as well as many other local and national initiatives.

Currently Leanne’s businesses have appointed both Caudwell Children and JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) as their chosen charity partners.

In 2019 Leanne’s daughter, Blaire, was diagnosed with Type-1 diabetes, which connected the Carling family to JDRF, an organisation who in addition to funding research into the illness, it’s treatments and potential cure, also provide support and guidance for families on their Type-1 journey. Leanne and her family have continued to raise awareness and funds for the organisation ever since including a fundraising cycle from Vietnam to Cambodia and trekking to Base Camp Mount Everest.

The connection with John Caudwell’s disabled and autistic children’s charity, Caudwell Children started after Leanne and her husband accepted an invitation from John to join his ‘Life-Changers Circle’, pledging to donate £1million to the organisation.

Leanne and the Carling family are driven by their philanthropy, with a desire to do as much good and help as many people as their success affords.
